As we all know, it has been a very quiet year for social events so far,
WAFTA included, but we are about to break out and celebrate Bastille Day
with a pétanque tournament!
Please put Wednesday 14th July in the diary, for 7.00pm on the terroir next to
the Bowls Club. It will be teams of three (a sorting hat will operate on the night).
We recommend that you bring a picnic as we won’t be catering for food or
drink (alas) to keep everything simple.
We will let you have more information later once we know the numbers and the
format, but the important thing is WAFTA getting out there again!
