Our first pétanque session of the new season got off to a very good start. We enjoyed a very convivial get-together on a bright sunny morning with the gale giving us an excellent excuse for any wayward aiming. So, looking ahead, we are intending to play on the 1st Thursday of each month as a regular programme, with the next two dates set as Thursday 5th May and Thursday 2nd June. We will be checking the weather beforehand and confirming the session.
We have also added a date – 3rd June – for our involvement in the Jubilee celebrations. The Summer Supper will now revert back to being a Summer Lunch and will be held on Sunday 26th June – details to follow.
