Don’t forget that the pétanque season starts on Thursday 7th April, weather permitting, obviously.
We’ll be assembling at 10.45am, to give John time sort out the teams, before making a prompt start at 11.00am.
As before, it’s an open session and we will provide everything needed, including boules, so all you need to do is turn up and enjoy yourself! If you haven’t played before, or find the rules a little obscure, everything will be explained. As usual, we will be on the terrain alongside the bowls club. We will have a look at the weather forecast the day before and let you know what’s happening.
It’s very informal and relaxed, just competitive enough to keep it interesting, and a great opportunity to enjoy a get-together with other members.
