WINSLOW ANGLO FRENCH TWINNING ASSOCIATION TREASURER’S REPORT FOR YEAR 1ST NOVEMBER 2019 TO 31ST OCTOBER 2020
The financial reports for the year have been reviewed complementarily by the accountants Camfield Chapman & Lowe and accepted as a true record of the association’s affairs. A full audit is not necessary since the association is classed as a members club and is not classed as an incorporated company or a registered charity.
You will note that there was a deficit for the year of £645.32 and this left us with net association funds of £11,432.57. This is an exemplary result when taking into account the minimal activity during the year and the cancelling of our main fund raising events at the Winslow Show and Christmas Market. It also justifies the position we have taken during previous years to try and build up our reserves to cater for two bad weather summers.
In view of the difficulties many Winslow groups were having due to the pandemic it was agreed with Winslow Town Council that we would forgo our £1000- grant this year on condition that they used it to help some of the other charitable groups in the town.
